Undergraduates: WashU undergraduates can register to conduct independent research for course credit via the Bio200/500 courses. There are also a variety of programs that facilitate paid summer research experiences for WashU and non-WashU undergraduates through DBBS and the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), including enhanced opportunities for applicants from diverse backgrounds. Technicians/Research Assistants: We’re routinely looking for enthusiastic early-career researchers seeking a 2+ year intensive laboratory research experience in preparation for further education (life sciences PhD program or medical school). Prospective applicants should look out for official job postings, and contact Dr. Meers with any questions about the lab environment.
Graduate Students: Graduate admission is coordinated through the DBBS Program at WashU. Prospective students interested in Dr. Meers’ lab should apply through DBBS (applications open in the fall).
