Mike is awarded Center of Regenerative Medicine Seed Grant

Dr. Meers was awarded competitive Seed Grant from the Center of Regenerative Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine! Mike was selected as a finalist for the grant in January and participated in a 5-minute pitch event for his proposal on February 3rd, where he and two other groups were selected for funding by a panel of judges. The $50,000 grant will help the lab conduct early pilot experiments for a project studying how chromatin landscapes impact transcription factor access to genomic targets across many distinct cell types, with implications for understanding how transcription factors shape developmental cell fate decisions.
