Undergraduate research assistant Rohit Cherian joins the lab

We’re excited to have Rohit Cherian officially join the lab today! Rohit is a rising Junior at WashU majoring in Biology. Rohit comes to the Meers Lab with previous experience as a Research Assistant in the lab of Christine Disteche at the University of Washington, where he performed key support roles in experiments studying the role of DNA binding protein CTCF in X-chromosome inactivation. This summer he will focus on optimizing protocols for purification of Tn5-containing fusion proteins to contribute to ongoing development of new high-resolution chromatin profiling technologies in the Meers Lab. Welcome Rohit!
